Change Yourself…Exchange Yourself!

Through Exchanges Canada, Canadian students ages 11-18 could be whisked away to the opposite side of the country or any point in between. There is a fair bit of legwork involved in setting up an exchange, but the Canadian Heritage Department has teamed up with many partners to facilitate this program.

How does it work?
Well, as an exchange student in a group of 10-30 you locate another student of roughly the same age, and stay as a billet with this student’s family. At a later date, the roles reverse and the student stays with you and participate in activities in your area.

How much does it cost?
There is some fundraising involved, but the return ticket of the trip is paid for by Heritage Canada.

Where do I have to apply?
Please visit the Exchanges Canada Website:
Exchanges are made on a continual basis, details are available at this website.

Please feel free to contact our office should any additional questions arise. Phone 250-851-4991, Fax 250-851-4994.
